Needs a Big Update: As I suspected earlier, it was all about --- This Cloward-Piven rioter says it best ... “We’re just showing the rich people that we can do what we want” -- The are just using the police issue as a scapegoat ...
Hot Air has the story:
Old post follows:
New Video Released of UK Riots, PM David Cameron Calling Parliament Back From Vacation -- Wouldn't it be better to let the investigation continue as to what happened, than to burn up the place?
The rioters are mostly the Cloward-Piven crew for England, hooligans they call them. Using the pretense of the "murder" the rioters say, of a father of four, what he was doing and the circumstances are less clear.
The Sony Building in London, England is just the latest to be engulfed by flames as a result of riots that erupted in the city after a father of four was shot by police in a racially charged North London suburb. Now, the dangerous riots are spiraling out of control, according to police, and have caused Prime Minister David Cameron to call parliament back from vacation to work on restoring order.
“I am determined, the government is determined that justice will be done and these people will see the consequences of their actions,” he said in a statement Tuesday. “You will feel the full force of the law … and if you’re old enough to commit these crimes, you’re old enough to face the punishment.”
There will reportedly be 16,000 police patrolling London streets tonight – triple the usual number; Cameron hasn’t, however, yet called on the military for assistance.
Approximately 460 people have been arrested so far, and the riots have spread outside of the immediate city and into suburbs, including Birmingham and Liverpool.
Pamela Duggan, the man's mother, said race may have been a factor in the death. "They [the police] killed my son. I'm not saying murder ... I don't know what it is. Apparently it was wrote [sic] somewhere that he was being watched ... He's black and you know what that means," she said.

Green Tax Revolt, In England: It Seems They Found Out
In the UK it looks like large majorities of the people have figured it out -- You pay more in taxes, and government will pretend to control the weather. As long as Pelosi fly back and forth to California on a government supplied and fueled jet, as long as lawmakers convoy the 3 blocks to events in monster Chevy SUVs, then I think it's quite proper that the public think that those running around acting like our hair is on fire are just joking and not serious about anything except raising taxes. It's a cruel word, but actions speak louder than words.
For the last 6-7 years the Earth has been cooling at an impressive rate of about 0.4 C per decade. It's time to cool it with the hoax.
Green tax revolt: Britons 'will not foot bill to save planet'Works for me ... Now that NASA says global warming is taking a 10-30 year holiday, who is to say that nature wasn't doing the warming all along. Oh sure, man might have caused a small insignificant part of it, and there is no doubt that the Earth has been warming steadily since the 1700s and the end of the Little Ice Age at about 0.5-0.7 C per century, but no where near the catastrophic levels that the Goracle preaches, and surely by any sane metric not enough to warrant destroying our life style.
More than seven in 10 voters insist that they would not be willing to pay higher taxes in order to fund projects to combat climate change, according to a new poll.
The survey also reveals that most Britons believe "green" taxes on 4x4s, plastic bags and other consumer goods have been imposed to raise cash rather than change our behaviour, while two-thirds of Britons think the entire green agenda has been hijacked as a ploy to increase taxes.
The findings make depressing reading for green campaigners, who have spent recent months urging the Government to take far more radical action to reduce Britain's carbon footprint. The UK is committed to reducing carbon emissions by 60 per cent by 2050, a target that most experts believe will be difficult to reach. The results of the poll by Opinium, a leading research company, indicate that maintaining popular support for green policies may be a difficult act to pull off, and attempts in the future to curb car use and publicly fund investment in renewable resources will prove deeply unpopular.

Similarities
The similarities between the English Labour Party, the English Drive by media and the US Democrats and their drive by media are startling. Boris Johnson was pegged as a racist, and likely a homophobe, mirroring what they do to Conservatives in the US. So what does Boris do his first day to live up top his promise to reduce crime? He appoints a black guy, Ray Lewis, a former prison governor, as Deputy Mayor, and gives him the task to night and day combat crime.
So all conservatives are stereotyped as racists worldwide. Good to know. Who wore the sheets, let me think .....
Mr Lewis is a director of the Eastside Young Leaders Academy, a project that helps young men heading towards a career in crime turn their lives around.Read the rest here.

According to Metropolitan Police figures, 26 teenagers were murdered in London last year in stabbings and shootings and 12 young people have met violent deaths already this year, the latest on the evening that Mr Johnson ended Ken Livingstone's two-term incumbency of the Mayor's office.
"We face a wave of violent crime amongst young people in the capital. Kids are killing other kids. Ray will be part of my team who will work night and day until we put an end to this tragic trend," said Mr Johnson.
Tory strategists plan to use Mr Johnson's new high-profile position as a test-bed for Conservative initiatives that they can then point to as examples of how the party would govern the rest of the country if they repeat his success in a General Election.
The new mayor has already demanded tough action on crime in the city during his first meeting with Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair. Over the next few weeks, he will order hundreds more policemen to patrol the public transport system. He has also pledged to introduce weapon scanners at tube and railway stations and will set out plans to ban alcohol on the Underground and confiscate travel passes from offenders.

The Wheels Are Coming Off
It all comes down to more taxes, to say government can control the weather. We had a snow storm this weekend, it dumped four feet of new spring snow in parts of the west. Gummed up the works terribly, Interstates closed, people told to stay inside, as the blizzard raged. It's not that unusual to have late spring snows, but it just adds to the winter that seems to never end.

Had to happen, sooner or later people were going to realize what the hysterical arm waving global warming hoax was all about -- And when they did, they would act. Last Friday in England, that event happened. That election was all about the hysterical ranting of idiots and the taxes they wanted to raise. "Red Ken" Livingston took the lead, he was at the top of the list and he lost the election. Gordon Brown the PM spectacularly lost the people's support everywhere. Here is a choice series of quotes before and after the election.
Gordon Brown is poised to scrap a series of unpopular tax rises as part of sweeping changes to stave off a dangerous revolt over the rising cost of living which last week dealt Labour its worst electoral hammering in 40 years. Today the Prime Minister will respond to a growing suburban uprising by signalling moves to help motorists and other consumers. Last night Downing Street sources hinted the 2 per cent rise in fuel duty due in the autumn may not go ahead, in a concession to tight household budgets.
--Gaby Hinsliff and Jo Revill, The Observer, 4 May 2008
Internal polling in London found Ken Livingstone's green policies, such as new charges for gas-guzzling cars, alienated older voters, while the environment was at best a low priority for others, suggesting that, as families' budgets shrink, so does their willingness to pay to save the planet. 'My colleagues will say Labour has got to be brave on green issues, but the public are really feeling the pinch,' said one senior minister.
--Gaby Hinsliff and Jo Revill, The Observer, 4 May 2008
U.K. voters resoundingly rejected the Labour Party in local elections last week. It was no capricious shift, but a citizen revolt against trendy carbon and nanny-state taxes that empower only bad government. For Labour, it was the worst election in 40 years. Every tax and intrusion imposed by Labour in recent years was justified as being for voters' "own good." Ending global warming, reducing carbon footprints, lowering carbon emissions and raising public funding of renewable energy - all were excuses used to hit the voters' pocketbook with more taxes. Yet none of these taxes improved the quality of life.
--Investor's Business Daily, 2 May 2008
If I may inject, the only thing increasing CO2 does is raise taxes ...
Oh dear! The inevitable is happening. The 'global warming' trope is unravelling on a daily basis - scientifically, economically, and politically. The wheels are coming off the hysterical bandwagon, and it is not going to be a salutary sight watching the politicians and the media junkies jumping cart and trying to throw mud in everyone's eyes.
--Philip Stott, 3 May 2008
Global warming is a new religion and blasphemy against that religion is not a laughing matter. The high tide of unthinking adherence to this new religion has been reached and I think it may well be in the coming years the tide will gradually recede but it will be a very glacial progress.
--Nigel Lawson, The Guardian, 3 May 2008
But, of course, people aren't interested in these kinds of facts. They want the religion. They want the sweet moralistic feeling of telling someone to stop doing something. They want to be able to rage about Chelsea Tractors and Tony Blair's flights, and they want to give vent to their feelings of disgust at the whole triumph of Western consumerist capitalism.
--Boris Johnson, The Daily Telegraph, 11 January 2007
For the first time in years, voters seem skeptical that solar, wind, ocean waves and currents, biofuels and other so-called renewable sources of energy can replace gasoline, petroleum-based diesel, home heating oil, natural gas, and propane to any significant degree in the foreseeable future. Among ordinary middle class, working class and poor voters, global warming appears to be a non-issue. More and more hard-pressed people are more afraid of pauperization than the manmade greenhouse gases that supposedly cause climate change.
--China Confidential, 3 May 2008
Same as in the USA, where polls show the hoax polling at the bottom of a list of 20 issues. And rightly they should be concerned, because the 'green nonsense' is just nonsense. The technology does not exist.
Last but not least, Socialism takes one in the shorts. The only thing socialism does is implement a bottomless pit of demand which then leads to rationing, and finally the whole collapses. Still waiting for gas prices to go down are you...
Failed asylum seekers are sneaking out of Britain - because they are fed up with the poor healthcare and bad weather. Scores have been caught trying to break past border controls in recent weeks, according to immigration staff. Les Williams, a chief immigration officer for the UK Border Agency, said: "We cannot explain exactly why they are trying to go, but when some of these people were questioned they said they wanted to go to a warmer country as they are fed up with the English weather."
--The Daily Mail, 3 May 2008

Meet The New Mayor Of "Londonistan": Boris Johnson
Cool hair ... Bicycling while texting could be harder. 'Top Gear' wouldn't even allow 'Red Ken' on the track grounds. Oh yeah, I forgot, the Top Gear folks had at least, that's how the story goes, threatened to kidnap 'Red Ken' and set him on fire. Opinions vary as to whether or not the threat actually happened.
His defeated opponent, "Red Ken" Livingston, was a blatant fan of every Marxist thug and radical Moslem in the world. Livingston's comments about the Holocaust, about Israel and about the suspect loyalties of young Jews in Britain are despicable. Goodbye to a mayor who said: "For far too long the accusation of anti-Semitism has been used against anyone who is critical of the policies of the Israeli government, as I have been."American Thinker has the details here.
Five years ago, Livingston was calling President Bush "the most corrupt American president since Warren Harding in the Twenties" and "not the legitimate president." He embraced Hugo Chavez, the Marxist thug who is trying to be a new Castro. Goodbye to that sort of extreme and robotic Leftism.
You can get Melanie Phillips' book "Londonistan" here. It's a good read for what is likely coming to America.
England's Muslims are sad, very sad, that England is coming to their collective senses and now not likely to allow the world's biggest Mosque to be built in London.
Global warming and it's taxes, taxes on taxes and taxes on taxes on taxes were the major issue in the election, but massive immigration and Londonistan were close seconds. Boris is not a real strong Conservative, but from Red Ken's and his followers vantage point, Boris must look like the devil in disguise.
