'Malaria is spread by mosquitoes,' Gates said while opening a jar on stage at the Technology, Entertainment, Design Conference in Monterey, California — a gathering known to attract technology kings, politicians, and Hollywood stars.

'I brought some. Here I'll let them roam around. There is no reason only poor people should be infected.'

It would be a whole lot easier to just build a few DDT factories in Africa and solve the problem. Yes, Rachael Carson was a nut, and yes her pseudo-science was bogus and has been proved wrong by 30 years of Study. In 2006 WHO approved DDT for use once more. More here on DDT.

On average, one African child dies every 30 seconds from malaria, and still the world's leftists hold to the hoax that DDT is bad for the environment. That has been proved false, after 30 years of study. There have been over 30 million malaria caused deaths, mostly children under age of five, since DDT was banned by fiat in 1972.

The travesty in lives lost is on the hands of the leftist who push the DDT hoax.

How The Left Works To Protect The Lies Of Rachael Carson

Controversy is spreading over plans in several Africa countries to re-introduce DDT, as part of malaria control efforts, In Malawi the tobacco industry has now weighed in to oppose the return of the pesticide.

Two years ago the World Health Organization said it was giving DDT ‘a clean bill of health’ for use in malaria control. WHO recommends the use of indoor residual spraying (IRS) not only in epidemic areas but also in areas with constant and high malaria transmission, including throughout Africa. Here's the nut

In a nutshell, use DDT and we environmentalists will spread the word that your tobacco is contaminated with DDT, and scare the hell out of the countries that buy your tobacco -- Typical environmental Marxism. What that means is laughable, DDT was sprayed and used, even in the U.S. for years, with no harmful effects. It was only after the spraying of DDT become successful in pushing back the scourge of mosquitoes and the diseases they caused, did the left seize on banning DDT to prevent people from living in otherwise uninhabitable regions of the U.S because of mosquitoes.

And this is where Rachael Carson came in, with her book silent spring, and the lies told in it. Pseudo-science at it's grandest. And hence began the modern era of scaremongering using pseudo-science as a club. The latest chapter of which is the global warming hoax.

A little history and science goes a long way

During WWII, shortly after DDT was discovered, soldiers used to bath in the stuff, wash their clothes with it, and basically lather up with the 'deadly DDT'. Turns out it was not deadly at all and after some 30 years of use, the U.S. EPA banned it -- With no science to back it up. Remember back then the lefties controlled the media, the drive-by parrot was thriving and the propaganda stuck.

Sometimes change is good

With a half dead drive-by parrot media, things change -- Now days, even the World Health Organization cannot continue the ban when there is no scientific proof of harm. DDT remains the most effective way to control malaria. WHO studied the issue for 30 years, and found no cause for alarm.

It is believed that over 30 million African children have died of deadly malaria since the ban on manufacturing went into effect in the U.S.

Lefties Still Trying To Get Uganda To Stop DDT Use

Why would they do that? My guess is Uganda is tired of being saddled with the curse of malaria on their people and have decided to act. Since we now know the whole of the DDT scare was a hoax -- Rachael Carson had no facts, only pseudo-science which has no been proved wrong. Real scientific investigations have yield no harmful effects from use of DDT, Uganda sees no reason to cow down to the environmental Marxists. Why should they?

Report asks Uganda govt to shelve aside DDT use

Last year, the Uganda Government launched a programme to spray DDT and a pyrethroid called Lambda-Cyhalothrin to eradicate malaria, which is the leading cause of death in Uganda. But erratic spraying of DDT could make mosquitoes resistant to the insecticide and render the fight against malaria ineffective.

As a means to eradicate mosquitoes, the Government launched an indoor spraying of DDT in several malaria-prone districts in south-western and northern Uganda.

However, the High Court stopped the spraying, after farmers, traders and conservationists successfully filed a petition.

This, Dr. Nelson Musoba, the vice-chairperson of the panel which compiled the report, said was dangerous.

The environmental Marxist use the same tactic, get some dumb judge to issue an order, you have to wonder who pays the judge off. Shameful behavior of one human to another.

The blood of the millions of dead African children from malaria is on the hands of these nuts. Gaia would not be pleased.

The Left And DDT

Rachel Carson, name ring a bell? Do you know who she is, what she did? She died in 1964 and has become a goddess to the environmental leftists -- Showing them the way of Gaia. Her book Silent Spring was published by Houghton Mifflin in 1962. The book caused the panic, started the whole process of lies about how DDT was destroying the world, hence the title "Silent Spring" -- When all things are dead. The book is a fairy-tale, not based on science, but fiction -- "Silent Spring" was not even close to scientifically accurate. All Rachel Carson did was what modern day leftists are doing today, they demonize an industry, in the case of DDT it was the chemical industry, accusing them of spreading mis-information, when in fact the chemical companies were trying to get the truth out. It took over thirty years to expose this hoax and get the truth out. Even today, the leftists are holding conferences and meeting to try and put the DDT genie back in the bottle, but no one is listening to them this time.

DDT is just one of many scares and silly wars perpetrated against objects, thoughts and diseases by leftist that are designed to panic the people into taking actions they would have otherwise avoided. In this case, banning of an insecticide based on no scientific data. In case you are wondering, WHO, yes that UN group, has removed the ban on DDT September 15, 2006. After over thirty years and millions of dead African children, the ban has been lifted and DDT has gone back into production to fight malaria. Yeah, they say it's only for indoor use, but who thinks that will stand the test of time. Why did millions have to die for a leftists fairy tale? There motives were clear, DDT allowed the pushing back of man's habitable boundaries and the leftists want to contain humanity to preserves of their choosing.

And now we come to Al Gore, his fictitious movie "Inconvenient Truth" and global warming, just the latest in the long line of leftists scares and their sycophant perpetrators who are trying to tell us we can control the sun if we will only pay enough taxes and live like they want us to live. You figure that one out for yourselves.

The scam never changes, only the targets. Yes, the "Silent Spring" hysteria WAS similar to the present "global warming" hysteria -- as the real process of science was perverted by a social/political movement.
