Cooked Chicken, Your Way
Sept Layoffs Highest in 2 Years...
POLL: Opposition to Obama grows -- and hardens...
From a perplexed Washington Post.
Opposition to Obama's destruction of America's economy grows — strongly.
PEOPLE HATE HIS SOCIALISM, LIKE CAPITALISM
Four in 10 Americans “strongly” disapprove of how President Obama is handling job as president in the new Washington Post-ABC News poll, the highest that number has risen during his time in office and a sign of the hardening opposition to him as he seeks a second term.
While the topline numbers are troubling enough, dig deeper into them and the news gets no better for Obama. Forty-three percent of independents — a group the president spent the better part of the last year courting — strongly disapprove of the job he is doing. Forty seven percent of people 65 years of age and older — reliable voters in any election — strongly disapprove of how he is doing his job.
Strong opposition to Obama has grown markedly since the start of the year.
In a mid-January Post-ABC survey, 28 percent strongly disapproved of the job Obama was doing. That number has steadily ticked upward — with the exception of a poll in early May that followed hard on the killing of Osama bin Laden — as the year has worn on and the economy has remained sluggish (at best).
And even as his strong disapproval numbers have steadily risen, his strong approval numbers have gone into a mirror-image decline.
The “anyone but Obama” crowd is getting larger and more strident in their opinions, while the president’s base is growing less and less strongly supportive of how he is doing the job.
To that point: 43 percent of self-identified Democrats said they “strongly” approve of the job Obama is doing, while 74 percent of Republicans strongly disapprove. That’s a 31-point disparity for you non-math majors out there.

Top 10 Lines from Obama's UN Speech
Hat tip: Fox Nation
Here are the top ten lines from the speech.
The fact is, peace is hard
I took office at a time of two wars for the United States. Moreover, the violent extremists who drew us into war in the first place – Osama bin Laden, and his al Qaeda organization – remained at large. Today, we have set a new direction.
Peace will not come through statements and resolutions at the UN – if it were that easy, it would have been accomplished by now.
To lift the specter of mass destruction, we must come together to pursue the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.
Too many people are out of work. Too many others are struggling to get by. We acted together to avert a Depression in 2009. We must take urgent and coordinated action once more.
Freedom from want is a basic human right.
To preserve our planet, we must not put off the action that a changing climate demands.
No country should deny people their rights because of who they love, which is why we must stand up for the rights of gays and lesbians everywhere.
Peace is preferable to war; freedom is preferable to suppression; and prosperity is preferable to poverty.
Let us resolve to see that it is defined by our hopes and not our fears.

Debt deal complicates liberals' support
Anything to get reelected ... ROFLMAO ... Overboard.
Politico reports:
President Barack Obama's road to debt ceiling compromise runs right through the left wing of the Democratic Party.
Much of the focus Sunday centered on House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), who must wrestle conservatives into line to pass the deal before Tuesday's default deadline. Yet team Obama quickly found out it is confronting an equally daunting sales jobs with a Democratic base embittered by compromise, ditched policy priorities and what many liberals view as an endless series of Obama capitulations.
"If I were a Republican, this is a night to party," Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a Missouri Democrat who chairs the Congressional Black Caucus, told MSNBC Sunday night.
If Obama thought he had problems with liberals before this, he'll have even more now, no matter how hard the White House spins it as a "victory for bipartisan compromise, for the economy and for the American people," as the administration's official talking points claimed.

So Why You Doing It?
Oh right, not until he gets reelected ... Smart.
In an interview with NBC News's Chuck Todd on August 5, 2009, when asked how raising taxes on ANYONE helps the economy, President Obama said: "The last thing you want to do is raise taxes in the middle of a recession because that would suck up... take more demand out of the economy and put businesses in a further hole." Now in July 2011, with unemployment still above 9%, his solution to the debt crisis is to TAX THE WEALTHY. How does this make any sense?
Don't worry, the truth in on rotation with OBozo, so it will change without notice.

Who Decides?
Don’t you just love how calm and cheerful he is, as he hammers away at the truth? Even Stephen Goss, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration, couldn’t help but smile as Huelskamp asked for his help getting to the bottom of why Social Security checks might not go out Aug. 3, when the nation clearly has enough money — even under a debt limit budget — to cover the interest on its debt, Social Security and more (Huelskamp even had the chart to prove it!).
Goss confirmed the decision to send out Social Security checks (or not) would, indeed, be a Treasury Department (a.k.a. the administration’s) decision.
During a July 13, 2011 Budget Committee hearing Congressman Huelskamp asked Stephen Goss, Chief Actuary for Social Security, for additional information about President Obama's statement the day before that he cannot guarantee that Social Security checks would be mailed August 3. Mr. Goss indicated that the Social Security Administration anticipates issuing checks, but that it will be a decision of the Obama administration as to whether or not the checks are mailed.
The Administration, a.k.a. Obama would decide to withhold sending out the checks.

Obama Losing It ,,,
...as it stands right now, Obama’s failing to connect and Garrett cited his so-called Twitter town hall meeting as an attempt almost in desperation to resurrect the messaging success the president in his prior election.
“[I]f people aren’t listening to you on that core message, it doesn’t matter what you say anymore,” he said. “And I think the president is dangerously close to losing that connection with the American people on what he knows about the economy and what he can predict about the economy. And presidents who can’t lead on the economy tend to be replaced. And I think today’s Twitter town hall is evidence of a low-level degree of anxiety bordering on panic within the Chicago reelection headquarters because back in 2008 and 2007, I watched this develop on the ground. There was a sense that ‘oh social media created the energy.’ No, social media harnessed and built it out. It made it exponential. But it didn’t create it in the first place and you see a lot of sort of feverish attempts to engage social media as if that’s the means by which to create energy. No – you create energy by what you do, what you say and how you lead, especially if you’re seeking reelection and it’s at that level that I think the energy pool is much more shallow for President Obama than the campaign would like it to be.”
People not listening to him, and why should they, all he does is lie.

Obama on Reconciliation: "The American People Aren't Always That Interested in the Procedures Inside the Senate"
"Most Americans think a majority vote makes sense"
McCain: "There have been reconciliations but not at the level of the issue of this magnitude, I think it could harm the future of our country and our institution which I love a great deal for a long, long time"
Obama: "This issue of reconciliation has been brought up, again, I think the American people aren't always all that interested in procedures inside the Senate, I do think they want a vote...I think that most Americans think a majority vote makes sense"
If I had been there, I would have walked out. I have said it before and I will say it again, Obama thinks he is speaking to a bunch of ignorant shoeless Kenyans -- It's who he is.

Obama: More Climate Lies
Today our dear reader -- Responding to a question, the President declared:
I want to just be clear that the science of climate change doesn't mean that every place is getting warmer…But...Vancouver, which is supposed to be getting snow during the Olympics, suddenly is at 55 degrees. But the problem was explained in 2003, after winning the winter games, by none other than Vancouver's Newspaper:
Winter Olympics all wet?:I wonder if Obama knew he was lying, or was it just another in his long list of shuck and jive off the cuff boners.
Vancouver has the mildest climate of any Winter Games venue
By Chad Skelton, Vancouver Sun
When Vancouver plays host to the Olympic Games six-and-a-half years from now, it will mark a peculiar milestone -- as the least wintery city ever to host the Winter Games.
Statistics compiled by The Vancouver Sun indicate that no city with a climate as mild as Vancouver's has ever hosted the Winter Games.
Past Olympics have been held in picturesque, snowy towns full of residents bundled up in ski gear.

Green Jobs Czar, the source of most communism in the 21st century. Just listen to the brilliance.
HIGHLIGHTS:
"our movement...to go from re-inventing politics, to re-inventing the economy"
"The slogan of 'Green Jobs' is the banner under which all the pro-democracy forces can gather for the next big assault"
"we can't hear each other because of 'Supremacist' ideas about who's smart and who's dumb..."
"nobody belongs here but the Native American peoples"
"the immigrant communities...clearly you have more wisdom where you are than we have here where we've paved over almost everything"
"It's our turn now...people who thought we could bomb and torture our way to peace have had their turn...it's our turn now"
"they've had their turn and they've completely discredited an entire economic model"
Insults White conservatives: "you're willing to go on that BART train and go out to Concord...It 'aint like Berkeley. you 'aint been there. Very few syllables in thew words they use. Don't want 'em to be confused"
About Republicans: "the answer to that is...they're a**holes...and Barack Obama is not an a**hole...I will say this: I can be an a**hole, and some of us who are not Barack Hussein Obama..are gonna have to get uppity"
"if you look like me you're gonna get beat up" (by a police officer for littering a piece of gum)
"some of us need to figure out which 2 or 3 Senators need to have terrible days, until they 'act right'"
"How's that Capitalism workin' for you?"

Transparency For Thee
But not for "The One"
Shall we start with this -- Isn't it fascinating how this particular quote has been buried by the mainstream media. But, did Rahm Emanual say this --
Chicago scandal could take the shine off the Obama inaugurationI say it's time to have more than a little transparency. It's time to come clean, about that Senate seat for sale -- What did the President Elect know and when did he know it?
In August 2006, when it was publicly known that Governor Rod Blagojevich and his staff were being investigated for corruption, Barack Obama took the microphone at the Illinois State Fair.
“We’ve got a governor in Rod Blagojevich who has delivered consistently on behalf of the people of Illinois,” he declared to the crowd as he endorsed the Illinois Governor for re-election.
Now, with the allegations that Mr Blagojevich tried to hawk Mr Obama’s vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder, the scandal — and the stench of Chicago politics that the President-elect hoped he had put behind him — is raising a slew of uncomfortable questions.
Mr Obama’s endorsement of Mr Blagojevich in 2006 was an example of the way that he operated in Chicago. He rarely bucked or challenged the corrupt status quo — in stark contrast to his image as a reformer.
His meteoric rise through Chicago politics was based on making strategic alliances with the city’s entrenched, and often ethically challenged, power brokers — Mr Blagojevich included — then moving on before being tainted by association. Several of these figures he once relied on have since become immersed in corruption scandals.
Mr Obama officially made transparency a central theme of his administration last week, yet he was facing growing calls yesterday to reveal what, if any, contact there had been between his staff and Mr Blagojevich over the efforts of the governor to sell his Senate seat.
Shall we start with this -- Isn't it fascinating how this particular quote has been buried by the mainstream media. But, did Rahm Emanual say this --
"The president-elect can get Blagojevich's wife on paid corporate boards in exchange for naming the president-elect's pick to the Senate."And furthermore, did you instruct him to say it, or was he just counting on your good graces to followup on the paid appointments to boards in exchange for your pick as Senate candidate. You do realize that is illegal don't you, sir.
