Unemployment 9.1%, Work Force At 1984 level

193,000 workers give up looking 117,000 FIND SOMETHING, means nothing ....... Except the government counts workers who gave up looking as no longer employable ????

Labor force participation ... now at Jan 1984 number. If the same number of jobs were available as when Obama took office, unemployment would now be 11.7% ... Fact: the labor force participation rate, and the reason why the general unemployment rate declined to 9.1%, just dropped to 63.9%, the lowest in 16 years, or matches the participation rate from January 1984.

Obammunism artificially shrunk the number of jobs available, on paper. The people without jobs are still real.

 

Labor force participation back to the point of Reagan as he tried to work off the Jimmy Carter disaster, 3 years after Carter.

So I ask you, if Keynesian economics worked so well, why is our GDP smaller in 2011 than it was in 2007 ....
