Sony Announces Internet TV, Ships October 12??

Sony have only mentioned the event will happen on October 12th, but not given any details on price or spec. However it is expected that the Google TV will be running the Android operating system, supporting flash support (unlike Apple products) and a Chrome internet browser.

It had been rumored that we would be seeing Google tv hardware sooner than expected after Intel CEO, Paul Otellini said that hardware would be arriving before the end of September.

The tv will seamlessly move from tv content, channels to streaming tv, social networking sites and the web in general. The integration with your tv set looks seamless and an absolute dream for tv lovers, as shown in the following Youtube video.
