"The Three Terrors"



So why not have a song, to take the thugs down a notch or two? Using satire to ridicule, first took off with Charlie Chapman and his The Great Dictator is a comedy film written, directed, produced by, and starring Charlie Chaplin. Having been the only Hollywood film maker to continue to make silent films well into the period of sound fiilms, First released in October 1940, this was Chaplin's first true talking picture as well as his most commercially successful film. More importantly, was the first major feature film of its period to bitterly satirize Nazism and Adolf Hitler.
