Rubio torches Kerry, two tries were enough to blow him away. The best part is seeing him effortlessly drop-kick doddering relics like Kerry over the horizon.  I mean, really: Kerry’s supposed to be one of their elites?



On the Senate Floor Sen. Rubio discusses the debt and engages in a debate with Sen. John Kerry. “Compromise without solutions is a waste of time,” Marco Rubio said on the Senate floor today.

I gloat, I gloat ... Tea Party guy, supporter for Rubio when people said who?  Congrats Sen Rubio. You slayed the wobbly old dragon.

Rubio, unlike some of the weasel politicians, Crist immediatle comes to mind as one of the LIARS in the race, Rubio says what he means, and sticks to it. Would we close the freeways of the USA, because of one major pileup?

Marco Rubio: I maintain that offshore drilling is going to happen whether we’re for it or against it because Cuba’s going to drill off its coast. We know China and Russia and Venezuela and Brazil are all exploring in the gulf and off our coasts. I don’t know if it would make us feel any better if it was a Cuban oil rig that blew up and leaked water and petroleum into our waters. My point is that there’s going to be offshore drilling whether America’s part of it or not. The only question before us is how much of our future petroleum needs are going to be met domestically and how much is going to be met by buying it from Hugo Chavez. That’s the only real issue before us.

David Brody: It could hurt you politically in this environment.

Marco Rubio: It’s the right place to be number one. Now let me get this straight. I believe that offshore drilling needs to be done safely. I think that what happened on this rig is not happening on other rigs. We need to find out what it is that happened so that it never happens again. We need to clearly identify the responsible parties which is BP and its subcontractors so that they pay for the economic and ecological damage that they’ve done but at the end of the day there are already existing rigs out there and we have to ensure that what’s happening now never happens on any of those rigs but when it gets to the issue of offshore drilling just remember other countries are going to drill in the Gulf of Mexico with or without us. The only issue before us is how much oil does America want to produce domestically and how much does it want to have to buy from maniacs like Hugo Chavez.”

And hey Rubio, let us not forget the massive regulatory failure this has all been -- From the MMS approval of the original doomed single casing well design, to the laughably flawed MMS approved spill containment plan. .... Massive big government failure.

Rubio: Arizona Immigration Law

On Tuesday, April 28, Marco Rubio discussed his views of the immigration law recently passed in Arizona.

RADIO HOST: “Let’s get right to it. Right now, our topic, a lot of callers fired up in support of this new law in Arizona. The crackdown on illegal immigration – where do you stand on it?”

MARCO RUBIO: “Well, let’s take a deep breath first and realize where we are. This is inevitable that this was going happen somewhere, particularly in Arizona. I was there about two months ago and the people there are – this is not even an immigration issue to them. This is a law enforcement issue.

You’ve got kidnappings and murders and gang violence pouring over the border in an uncontrolled fashion. The bottom line is the Federal government has completely failed to enforce Federal immigration laws, much less make them stronger and more effective. We have a legal immigration system that doesn’t work. And so it is inevitable that eventually some state was going to take action.

“And I’m not going to sit here and criticize a state that’s taken action, in defense of what they’ve done. I will tell you that I don’t think this is the best way to have handled it. I think the best way for this issue to ultimately be handled is for the Federal government to do its job. And the job of the Federal government is to enforce the immigration laws we have, to make sure that to the extent we have to come up with new technologies, whether it’s border security or a fence or fixing the visa program – that the Federal government can handle that. You know, the Federal government is involved in so many things that are none of its business. This is one the things the Federal government should be involved in. And the fact that it has failed to do it in an effective way has led to this. And we certainly can’t have 50 different immigration policies in 50 different states.

“Now here’s my fear: my fear is that the Obama administration is going to use this as an excuse to go forward with some sort of an amnesty bill. I’ve never supported amnesty. I think amnesty would be terrible for America’s future. Quite frankly, I think amnesty is terrible for legal immigration. If you were to grant amnesty, you will never be able to have a legal immigration system that works in America.

DeMint Launches Rubio Money-Bomb

The Senate Republicans, they hold a grudge of sorts --- They blame Jim DeMint for pushing Arlen Specter to the Democrats. Even the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal attacked Jim DeMint for endorsing Pat Toomey. But now Toomey is beating both Specter and Sestak in the polling.

Then there is Marco Rubio, the target of the present money bomb. The Republican leadership in Washington flocked to Charlie Crist. They launched “on background” attacks against Jim DeMint in Roll Call for daring to step out of line and back Marco Rubio.

Calling all Tea Party people, support Jim Demint and our Florida Senate candidate Marco Rubio.

Important to support this money bomb.

Rubio marks half-year anniversary of Crist-Obama stimulus rally

In case Republican primary voters have forgotten that Gov. Charlie Crist stood with Democratic President Obama in Fort Myers to promote a $787 billion Democratic stimulus package, Crist’s GOP Senate primary rival Marco Rubio notes that today is the half-year anniversary of the event.

Rubio plans to campaign in Fort Myers and Naples today “to highlight the stimulus’ failure to stimulate Florida’s economy, to address the culture of reckless spending in Washington and to discuss solutions he will pursue in the U.S. Senate to control federal spending.”

This tells you all you need to know aboput Crist, Florida's own Arlen Specter clone.
