Pick Your Favorite Eco-Nut: The Idiocy Of The Left

It is hard to refute their "Scientific" evidence. But, if we did get a tar sands pipeline from Canada we could eliminate importing oil from the middle east. Then we could stop all of those senseless wars over there. We wouldn't have to ship it and truck into the U.S. which will save millions of tons of CO2 emissions. Plus it will create a lot of jobs in the U.S.. Sounds like a Win, Win, Win to me.

We wouldn't have to buy conflict oil, but the lunatics, well they just are.

Favorite moment comes at about 01:28 when Jamie Weinstein almost snorts at a protester who reflexively says, “Sure,” in response to the question, “Is there any way Dick Cheney and Halliburton are to blame?” Another woman perceptively says Bush is behind whatever problems the pipeline might cause because “he’s a Texan.”

A good man-on-the-street video is hard to beat. So, why is oil evil? Well, that’s not exactly what these Keystone pipeline protesters wanted to talk about (what did they want to talk about, then?), but they’ll take a stab at it anyway …

The Keystone pipeline is designed to bring Canadian oil sands to the Gulf Coast, where the US refineries are.
