Jeep 2012 SRT8

Chrysler revives the SRT8 moniker across all models ... Of course it has a hemi!!!

Track time:

The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was not originally designed to be a track car...in fact far from it. But for 2012 the Chrysler engineers at the SRT group took this very capable off-road car and transformed it into a track worthy ride.

Design analysis:

The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a strange Jeep indeed. It is more at home on the race track than on the Rubicon Trail. Think of it more as a all wheel drive tarmac tearing machine instead of an off-road worthy SUV. We recently had the chance to interview the Chrysler's SRT Brand CEO and designer Ralpp Gilles about the design of the new Jeep SRT8.

Fastest Jeep ever:

OK, here is it's twin at the worldwide launch ... Yes, a Mercedes

With almost a half million M-Classes sold in the U.S. and 1.2 million worldwide, Mercedes-Benz is elated to keep SUV buyers happy with a reformed 2012 M-Class model that appropriated the strengths of its forerunner and improved on performance, efficiency, safety and modern technological conveniences. On sale in September, M-B will offer two all-wheel drive models (4MATIC) to the American market: the direct-injection gasoline powered ML350 4MATIC and the clean diesel 2012 ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC.
