At What Point Does Revolt Happen

With all things progressive, the jokes on you ... As this Weekly Standard article notes:
Last month the University of Washington released a study suggesting that some of the phosphorus being discharged into the Spokane River never actually worked as fertilizer for algae to begin with. It seems that not all phosphorus is alike. Some of the effluents making their way into the river contained phosphorus in complex molecular forms which are not bio-available. Algae lack the enzymes necessary to break down this phosphorus, meaning it is essentially harmless. The study was a useful reminder that all science is settled. Until it’s not.
To spite you, the phosphates have been removed from dishwasher detergents by the eco-nuts. First the dishwasher detergents, then the rest go? To recap:
Spokane County became the launch pad last July(2010) for the nation’s strictest ban on dishwasher detergent made with phosphates, a measure aimed at reducing water pollution. The ban will be expanded statewide in July 2010, the same time similar laws take effect in several other states.
As the Associated Press notes, there’s just one problem:
Many people were shocked to find that products like Seventh Generation, Ecover and Trader Joe’s left their dishes encrusted with food, smeared with grease and too gross to use without rewashing them by hand. The culprit was hard water, which is mineral-rich and resistant to soap.
Washington State has turned its residents into a group of drug runners — crossing state lines to buy dish washer detergent with phosphate. And now Walmart decides to play along ... Read the weekly Standard article linked above, you find the fix has failed, because the science was all wrong.

I suggest that people start purchasing Finish Glass Magic Dishwasher Performance Booster: 16 OZ, As of now, it's still 20% phosphates.

At what point do the people tell the politicians to go to hell? At what point do they get off the couch, march down to their state legislator’s house, pull him outside, and beat him to a bloody pulp for being an idiot?

Your clothes are next, then Harry will really be able to smell them tourist people coming.

I wonder, what do the 40 million children who died because DDT was banned for a hoax, do about getting their lives back. Progressives, they know so much which just isn't so ... As Reagan once said.
