After Worst Election Year Ever, Florida Democratic Party Picks New Chairman

Florida Democrats elected former Sen. Rod Smith as their chairman Saturday just two months after enduring one of their worst election years ever.

Democrats lost all five statewide seats on the November ballot and lost ground in the state Legislature and Congress. While party leaders and officials spent the morning talking about what went wrong - citing a national Republican tsunami among a list of reasons - they looked ahead with enthusiasm to 2012 and cheered calls to re-elect President Barack Obama and Sen. Bill Nelson.

Sen Nelson, you're next ... LOL. My advice, drop the commie line.
