What's Causing the OIl Price Rise

Democrats.

The Democrats have blocked new oil well leases drilling, new refineries and new nuclear power plants/ The oil well drilling has been blocked in ANWR, offshore and on much of federal land -- Marked closed. The US EIA estimates there are 118 billion barrels of recoverable oil on US soil. That's half of what Saudi Arabia has in reserves. That does not include vast oil deposits still undiscovered under the Arctic Ocean. Canada is well aware of this, they have been exploring and recovering Arctic oil for 30 or more years running.

The canard about the oil companies not drilling on leases they have, first off those leases expire, they are bought in bulk, and not all contain any recoverable oil. The oil that was recoverable has for the most part bee drilled, the rest of the leases are just left to expire with no more activity. Don't you think that at $140 a barrel if the oil companies knew there was oil there, they would be pursuing it? You can't believe that hate big oil demagogic clap trap spewed mu Sen Schumer and Reid, do you? Hey even Rep Pelosi said it, but she also said elect Democrats in 2006 and they had a'secret plan' to rediuce gasoline prices, you bought that lie didn't you?

So why do Democrats block new energy resources, to control the economy, control the American people and rule over the country. Their nonsense of global warming is the hoax you are supposed to buy -- Pay more in taxes so government can pretend to control the weather.

President Bush yesterday urged Americans to write their congressional representatives to allow drilling for oil in the United States.

"We can help alleviate shortages by drilling for oil and gas in our own country, something I've been advocating ever since I've been the president," Bush told reporters in Washington.

Bush is seeking drilling in more US waters and in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to increase oil supplies - which is currently banned by Congress.

"I've been reminding our people that we can do so in environmentally friendly ways," he said. "And yet the Congress, the Democratically controlled Congress, now has refused to budge. It makes no sense."

Americans "ought to be writing their Congress people about it," Bush said.

You might want to drop a line to John McCain as well, he thinks ANWR, that Arctic coastal wasteland, is another Grand Canyon. Sure John, sure, rock a bye baby in the tree top. Yrs wasteland, that was the term used to describe the area of the Arctic, before it was drivelled on by the environmental Marxists.

Democrats seek power to deny the rest of us freedom and liberty. Obama is the ultimate incarnation of that approach to control, and ultimately tyranny.
