The zones in red are the banned areas. The Destin Dome, known to contain huge quantities of natural gas, is the west most area of the Florida banned area. Why these bans are in place? Democrat enablers and their environmental Marxists. Does anyone think you could see a well head 25 miles out from the beaches. And what about the fish magnets the drilling rigs and wells would make? Wouldn't that spur tourist fishing and trips offshore? You bet it would.
