Microstamping: It Doesn't Work.

What's microstamping, that's the stupid California liberal wet dream of stamping some sort of identifying mark on the firing pins of guns, so the cartridges can be identified as to what weapon may have fired the round. The bottom line, it doesn't work, and it is easily defeated, and probably adds hundreds of dollars cost to a firearm.

From NSSF, here is a copy of the full study on Micro-stamping as released by UC Davis.

Call me Ahab has a brief write up on microstamping.

News story about California's microstamping, it doesn't work and it isn't needed. How do you know the user of the gun was the owner of the gun, or was in possession at the time the gun was used for a crime? The whole notion is absurd, I don't accept the liberal premise that microstamping spent cartridge cases will do anything to 'prove beyond a shadow doubt' it proves nothing.

However, as we found in Florida, locking up the criminals and throwing away the key works great. The Democrat Socialists don't like that part, takes too many of their voters off the streets.
