Being a citizen is a full-time job. If we wish to reclaim our rights, we first must begin by reclaiming our responsibilities. Rights and responsibilities are inextricably linked and cannot be separated.
Here is Keith Olbermann at his best. I am always interested in how the media people react when outlet breaks from the pack and refuses to go along with the pack of lies. In the old days of the big three, there was no alternative, if all three major networks said it, that's the way it was -- as in if Walter Cronkite says the Vietnam war is lost, then it must be lost. It's astounding what happens when the pack won't tow the line.
"Al Qaeda really hurt us, but not as much as Rupert Murdoch has hurt us, particularly in the case of Fox News. Fox News is worse than Al Qaeda -- worse for our society. It's as dangerous as the Ku Klux Klan ever was."
