Gun Control And The Twisted Left's Reasoning

Robert VerBruggen has a very good article at the American Spectator about gun control and the Virginia Tech massacre -- Irresponsibly Gun Shy. The twisted reasoning and ignoring reality that the VA Governor's panel's report on the shooting should be put on a pedestal in honor of twisted leftist think.
The crossroads between tragedy and policy is a treacherous one. There's harm in converting one's immediate, gut-level emotions into law, but by the same token, it's not smart to ignore a drastic turn of events, either.
The main problem for today's gun control leftists is the simple fact that over 40 states issue citizens shall issue carry permits, and that has built up a ten year history of data and actual scenario's involving firearms.

Read the whole thing, it's worth it.
