Global Warming -- A Must Read

There is a HUGE article here by an atmospheric physicist called: "The Great Global Warming Hoax?". I am almost inclined to put nothing else up here today in order to encourage people to have a look at it. Here is a small section ...

We're reminded of an earlier story, which happened back in 1912. This was the amazing discovery of a skull and jawbone in which was quickly named the Piltdown Man and which all the world's archaeologists immediately accepted as a hitherto unknown form of early human. It appears no one bothered to examine it closely, assuming that other scientists had thoroughly investigated and vetted it. The hoax wasn't uncovered until 1953, when it was learned that the skull was that of a modern man and the jaw that of an orangutan. Seems no one had ever bothered to take a really close look at the artifact.

Well, folks, it does appear we have a new, 21st Century Piltdown Man, and this time we know his name.

England's Liberals On The Skids

I have always said, when you realize that you would have to be at least 46 years old to remember the disaster that was President Jimmy Carter, there is no reason to fear the liberals taking over in America. I give them two years to wreck the economy, the only thing that matters to most Americans, well other than the 'bar life' and scoring the next "hook up". It is already apparent that the high energy costs, and the high food costs are taking their toll on Americans.

I had to go out to Home Depot Sunday afternoon, a usual exercise in my house, to get material for the next remodel project. Our home is over 30 years old and needs a lot of continuous upgrades, like, well, you name it and it breaks down regularly ... But that is not the tale, the real Sunday afternoon story was the deserted roads, the deserted stores, the complete lack of a vibrant economy. Sheesh, what happened, where did the people go?

Looks like the Democrats 2007 energy bill is already having an effect, even before the pittances are mailed.

The credit problem, caused by the notion that not being able to get a loan because you don't qualify to repay it is discrimination, is now having it's full impact. Financial markets worldwide are imploding. Maybe loan qualifications weren't discrimination afterall.

Support for Labour hits 25-year low

Gordon Brown’s party slipped to 27% – 16 points behind the Conservatives – amid growing concern about the government’s economic competence, a YouGov survey for The Sunday Times shows today.

If the results of the poll were repeated in a general election, David Cameron would storm into Downing Street with a landslide majority of 120 and a string of high-profile cabinet ministers including Alistair Darling, the chancellor, would lose their Commons seats.

WOW, talk about skids. And why? It's the economy, stupid. It always has been, always will be. And high taxes on energy is the most crippling of all.

The main cause of the swing to the Conservatives is the collapse in faith in Brown and Darling’s stewardship of the economy. Just 21% of voters now say they would trust Labour more than the Conservatives to raise their family’s living standards, with the Tories in a decisive lead on this issue.

The overwhelming majority – 83% – believe the economy will either grow more slowly over the next 12 months or slide into recession. Worryingly for Labour, its claims that taxes cannot be cut without harming essential public services are no longer widely accepted.

Six out of 10 back the Tory argument that making the public sector more efficient will create room for lowering the tax burden and almost eight out of 10 – 78% – say the government is not doing enough to cut the amount of taxpayers’ money it wastes.

There was widespread scepticism about Darling’s individual tax rises. Three out of four or 74% agreed that so-called “green” taxation on polluting cars and flights were a “con” and 85% say the higher alcohol duty rates will do nothing to curb binge drinking.

Global warming, the biggest con in the history of mankind is beginning to kill economies worldwide. It will continue as long as the liberals pay no attention to the state of affairs of individuals, and continuing the quest for higher and higher greenhouse taxes.

How taxes ever did anything to control the weather or the climate is never explained. Not is what the new taxes will be actually used for.

It won't take two years, the liberals have started ahead of schedule. Just remember who Jimmy Carter really was, not the liberal remake. The misery was real, the crippling effects of his policies were real. It nearly stopped America in it's tracks.

Liberals are simple organisms, they have simple policies they resort in - Explained in one short sentence --- Raise taxes, fund socialism and gun control. It's left to the reader to figure out why gun control is so prevalent in liberal dogma.

Biofuels Forcing World to Ration Food Aid

Who thought this was a good idea, that isn't a Democrat in Congress???

The World Food Program is preparing to ration food aid for the world's hungriest poor. Why? Primarily because we're burning food in our automobiles. The rich-country mandates for biofuels have doubled and tripled world food prices in less than three years.

The World Food Program's costs are rising by millions of dollars per week and the donations aren't, warns WFP executive director Josette Sheeran. The WFP is trying to feed more than 70 million people in 78 countries with voluntary contributions—but now can't afford to keep its agreed-upon commitments.

Heck even Jimmy Carter wasn't this stupid.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: The death toll in Wana Missile strike, the main town in the tribal district of South Waziristan, has increased to 20, the sources said.

Seven others were also injured when a missile struck a suspected militant compound in a lawless Pakistani tribal area on the Afghan border Sunday.

Residents said they heard several blasts after several missiles fired from an unknown site hit the home of a local tribesman in a village near Wana.

Foreigners linked with Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants were believed to be staying at the compound in Doog village, the residents said.



“Militants have cordoned the blast site and are taking out bodies from the rubble,” one local tribesman said.

“The missile has left only part of a boundary wall intact and turned the compound into a pile of debris,” he said.

“Body parts were flung into the air and were lying in nearby farmlands,” he added. Pakistan’s chief military spokesman major general Athar Abbas said that he had received reports about blasts, but had no details about casualties yet.

Obama's Spiritual Advisor

I wasn't planning to say much about Obama's spiritual advisor, pastor and campaign advisor, a race baiting hate monger, but will say only that I am sure glad that Obama didn't go to Bob Jones University and give a speech. If he did, the Democrats in congress would want a condemnation resolution against him. While you can't hold Obama to what is said by others, you can hold them to "why did you sit in the church and listen to this race baiting hate mongering fool for 20 years"? That's a question that I think Michelle Obama should answer.
