BMW M3 vs Prius

Which has better gas mileage?

And which is 'more green' ... The efficiency of the free market is really good.

The carbon footprint of this 'green' vehicle is astonishingly-large. Taking the energy costs and emissions of building the thing and then safely disposing of the noxious components in its batteries into account, you'd have to drive it to Venus and back before you saw any real planet-saving gains.

And there's not much point driving to Venus anyway - the place is hotter than hell due to global warming caused by all those pesky Venusians driving SUVs.

It has also been calculated that the Prius would actually be kinder to the environment - and deliver better performance - if the batteries and electric motor were removed completely. The feeble petrol engine would then have far less weight to drag around and would use a lot less precious fossil fuel.

So let's consign hybrids to the dumpster of history and examine the alternatives.

They Knew It Would Cause Panic

The fools knew it would cause a panic and did it anyway.

Coupled with the fact that “they” knew the reactions of the New Yorkers, we have this: “Threatened Federal Sanctions Against NYPD, Secret Service, FBI & Mayor’s Office If Secret Ever Got Out”.

A furious President Barack Obama ordered an internal review of Monday’s low-flying photo op over the Statue of Liberty. Hah, doesn't know where his planes are -- Sure, I believe that.

CBS 2 HD has discovered the feds will have plenty to question.

Federal officials knew that sending two fighter jets and Air Force One to buzz ground zero and Lady Liberty might set off nightmarish fears of a 9/11 replay, but they still ordered the photo-op kept secret from the public.

In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD the Federal Aviation Administration’s James Johnston said the agency was aware of “the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes” in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor’s office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out.

“To say that it should not be made public knowing that it might scare people it’s just confounding,” Sen. Charles Schumer said. “It’s what gives Washington and government a bad name. It’s sheer stupidity.”

The flyover — apparently ordered by the White House Office of Military Affairs so it would have souvenir photos of Air Force One with the Statue of Liberty in the background — had President Obama seeing red. He ordered a probe and apologized.

“It was a mistake. It will never happen again,” President Obama said.

The NYPD was so upset about the demand for secrecy that Police Commissioner Ray Kelly vowed never to follow such a directive again and he accused the feds of inciting fears of a 9/11 replay.

“Did it show any insensitivity to the psychic wounds New York City has after 9/11? Absolutely. No questions about it. It was quite insensitive.”

The cost of the frivolous flight was about $60,000 an hour and that was just for Air Force One. That doesn’t include the cost of the two F-16s that came along.

The mayoral aide who neglected to tell Mayor Michael Bloomberg about it was reprimanded.

Celebrate Earth Day

Investors Business Daily has something to say about Earth Day.

Charlton Heston read this speech on the Air of the Rush Limbaugh Show. He is reading an edited version of a chapter of the novel Jurassic Park, solely written by Michael Crichton. The chapter is called Destroying the World.

It eloquently expresses the ridiculousness of the environmentalist claim that global climate change, if in fact the earth is warming, is "MAN-MADE". If expresses the belief of many scientist that man did not change it and man can not fix it.

Diane Fuenstien, Corrputo-crat

Influential Democratic U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation on the first day of the new Congress this year to route US$25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that just awarded a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties to her husband's real estate firm, the Washington Times reported Tuesday.

The contract was to sell foreclosed properties at rates higher than the industry norms, the paper said, adding that Feinstein's "intervention on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. was unusual" because she isn't a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, which has jurisdiction over the FDIC.

Another oddity, the paper said: The FDIC usually operates on funds it raises from bank-paid insurance payments, not direct federal funds.

According to documents reviewed by the paper, Feinstein first offered to help the FDIC secure funds on Oct. 30. Her letter offering help was sent just days before the agency offered a lucrative contract to CB Richard Ellis Group, a real estate firm her husband, Richard Blum, heads as board chairman.

Hey is that a black guy? Why yes I believe it is. I guess they don't like bankrupting the country either.

NRA, Wayne LaPierre on Gun Bans

On Sunday, April 19, NRA's executive vice president Wayne LaPierre appeared on CBS' Face the Nation. Wayne stressed that enforcing existing laws was the answer to curbing gun crime, and not enacting failed methods such as renewing the Clinton semi-automatic gun ban proposed by gun control advocates like Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell.

Gun control is not crime control, it just makes more easy target victims.

al Qaeda Says They Win!!!

Al Qaeda's deputy commander, Ayman Zawahri attacked the U.S and President Obama in an unauthenticated tape. He uses Obama's decision to withdraw from Iraq as proof we have not defeated Al Qaeda. He calls Obama's election a political triumph for Al-Qaeda and the result of US defeat in Iraq. Story reported by AKI.
Barack Obama's election as US president has failed to lift America's status in the Muslim and Arab world, and is a victory for Al-Qaeda, according to a new audio message allegedly from the terror network's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri. The video was posted on key jihadist websites on Monday.

The authenticity of the tape is yet to be verified. The purported message is in Arabic and, unlike previous ones, contains no English subtitles. The message is edited with extracts from recent Arabic TV interviews with Arab political analysts.

"In our view, America is still the country that kills Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine. It is the country that steals our assets and occupies our lands, and which props up thieving and corrupt Arab regimes.

"The Islamic nation has opted to revive Islam and refuses to give in to oppression. Killing or capturing people casts the US in an even worse light. The US airstrikes in Pakistan pour oil on the flames and will lead to further defeats for that country," al-Zawahiri says.
Over to you, Obama, spin this one.

Obama's Pirate Fraud

Our naive ACTING president has some explaining to do.

Many hours before the fatal shots were fired, taking out the three young pirates, Phillips jumped into the Indian Ocean with the idea of giving the snipers a clear target. However, the SEAL team was still under orders not to shoot.

Hours later, frustrated by the missed opportunities to resolve the standoff, the commander of the Bainbridge and the captain of the Navy SEAL team determined they had operational authority to evaluate the risk to the hostage, and took out the pirates at the first opportunity – finally freeing Phillips.

What They Didn't Cover in Indonesian Madrassa

Taken as a package, Obama said, his agenda in Europe should be the common goals among people of faith during holy days of Easter and Passover.

"These are two very different holidays with their own very different traditions. But it seems fitting that we mark them both during the same week," Obama said. "For in a larger sense, they are both moments of reflection and renewal. They are both occasions to think more deeply about the obligations we have to ourselves and the obligations we have to one another, no matter who we are, where we come from, or what faith we practice."

OK, that's just downright weird that Obama doesn't understand that the two are related.

Obama's International Gun Control Ploy

Our President continues on his world apology tour, this time blaming all the ills of South America on the USA. From drugs to guns and through poverty, it's all America's problem. Not the problem of the despots and communists who run the countries of South America. Nope it's America's problem.

Drugs coming across your border, guns coming across your border, illegals coming across your border? Then why isn't the simple fix, close the border. WOW, well we couldn't have that, then what would we do about the loss of money we get from ... never mind.
Statement By NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and NRA Chief Lobbyist Chris Cox Regarding the Organization of American States Treaty on Firearms Trafficking

Thursday, April 16, 2009

The NRA is well aware of the proposed Organization of American States treaty on firearms trafficking, known by its Spanish initials as CIFTA. The NRA monitored the development of this treaty from its earliest days, but contrary to news reports today, the NRA did not "participate" at the meeting where the treaty was approved.

The treaty does include language suggesting that it is not intended to restrict "lawful ownership and use" of firearms . Despite those words, the NRA knows that anti-gun advocates will still try to use this treaty to attack gun ownership in the U.S. Therefore, the NRA will continue to vigorously oppose any international effort to restrict the constitutional rights of law-abiding American gun owners.

---

Obviously, gun control has got the Democrats in Congress spooked, so they do what they normally do, try for an International solution. This crap treaty has been around since BJ Clinton signed in in 1998. One of it's most onerous requirements is licensing of gun owners.

Obama's Mexican Jive Talk

This may have slipped by you -- So here is the oped put out by our radical Indonesian jive talker in chief, written in Spanish and published in the South American papers:
Choosing a Better Future in the Americas

By President Not my president Barack Obama

As we approach the Summit of the Americas, our hemisphere is faced with a clear choice. We can overcome our shared challenges with a sense of common purpose, or we can stay mired in the old debates of the past. For the sake of all our people, we must choose the future.

Too often, the United States has not pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors. We have been too easily distracted by other priorities, and have failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas. My Administration is committed to the promise of a new day. We will renew and sustain a broader partnership between the United States and the hemisphere on behalf of our common prosperity and our common security.

In advance of the Summit, we have begun to move in a new direction. This week, we amended a Cuba policy that has failed for decades to advance liberty or opportunity for the Cuban people. In particular, the refusal to allow Cuban Americans to visit or provide resources to their families on the island made no sense - particularly after years of economic hardship in Cuba, and the devastating hurricanes that took place last year. Now, that policy has changed.

The U.S.-Cuba relationship is one example of a debate in the Americas that is too often dragged back to the 20th century. To confront our economic crisis, we don't need a debate about whether to have a rigid, state-run economy or unbridled and unregulated capitalism - we need pragmatic and responsible action that advances our common prosperity. To combat lawlessness and violence, we don't need a debate about whether to blame right-wing paramilitaries or left-wing insurgents - we need practical cooperation to expand our common security.

We must choose the future over the past, because we know that the future holds enormous opportunities if we work together. That is why leaders from Santiago to Brasilia to Mexico City are focused on a renewed partnership of the Americas that makes progress on fundamental issues like economic recovery, energy, and security.

There is no time to lose. The global economic crisis has hit the Americas hard, particularly our most vulnerable populations. Years of progress in combating poverty and inequality hangs in the balance. The United States is working to advance prosperity in the hemisphere by jumpstarting our own recovery. In doing so, we will help spur trade, investment, remittances, and tourism that provides a broader base for prosperity in the hemisphere.

We also need collective action. At the recent G-20 Summit, the United States pledged to seek nearly half a billion dollars in immediate assistance for vulnerable populations, while working with our G-20 partners to set aside substantial resources to help countries through difficult times. We have called upon the Inter-American Development Bank to maximize lending to restart the flow of credit, and stand ready to examine the needs and capacity of the IDB going forward. And we are working to put in place tough, clear 21st century rules of the road to prevent the abuses that caused the current crisis.

While we confront this crisis, we must build a new foundation for long-term prosperity. One area that holds out enormous promise is energy. Our hemisphere has bountiful natural resources that could make renewable energy plentiful and sustainable, while creating jobs for our people. In the process, we can confront climate change that threatens rising sea levels in the Caribbean, diminishing glaciers in the Andes, and powerful storms on the Gulf Coast of the United States.

Together, we have both the responsibility to act, and the opportunity to leave behind a legacy of greater prosperity and security. That is why I look forward to pursuing a new Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas that will help us learn from one another, share technologies, leverage investment, and maximize our comparative advantage.

Just as we advance our common prosperity, we must advance our common security. Too many in our hemisphere are forced to live in fear. That is why the United States will strongly support respect for the rule of law, better law enforcement, and stronger judicial institutions.

Security for our citizens must be advanced through our commitment to partner with those who are courageously battling drug cartels, gangs and other criminal networks throughout the Americas. Our efforts start at home. By reducing demand for drugs and curtailing the illegal flow of weapons and bulk cash south across our border, we can advance security in the United States and beyond. And going forward, we will sustain a lasting dialogue in the hemisphere to ensure that we are building on best practices, adapting to new threats, and coordinating our efforts.

Finally, the Summit gives every democratically-elected leader in the Americas the opportunity to reaffirm our shared values. Each of our countries has pursued its own democratic journey, but we must be joined together in our commitment to liberty, equality, and human rights. That is why I look forward to the day when every country in the hemisphere can take its seat at the table consistent with the Inter-American Democratic Charter. And just as the United States seeks that goal in reaching out to the Cuban people, we expect all of our friends in the hemisphere to join together in supporting liberty, equality, and human rights for all Cubans.

This Summit offers the opportunity of a new beginning. Advancing prosperity, security and liberty for the people of the Americas depends upon 21st century partnerships, freed from the posturing of the past. That is the leadership and partnership that the United States stands ready to provide.

Europe Thinks Obama Is A Chrismatic Dunce

Proof that President Obama is not quite as popular across the Atlantic as he thinks. The Times has an amusing piece about Nicolas Sarkozy taking swipes at Barack Obama.

On the US President, Mr Sarkozy said: "Obama has a subtle mind, very clever and very charismatic. But he was elected two months ago and had never run a ministry. There are a certain number of things on which he has no position. And he is not always up to standard on decision-making and efficiency," he said

In another swipe at the American leader, Mr Sarkozy was quoted today making a dubious joke about the Obamania sweeping the European media. According to L'Express news magazine, Mr Sarkozy talked to another set of visitors about Mr Obama's planned visit to the Normandy beaches in June, Mr Sarkozy said: "I am going to ask him to walk on the Channel and he'll do it, you'll see."

In a separate piece, the Times notes:

The American President's call "to free the world of the menace of a nuclear nightmare" was hot air, Mr Sarkozy's diplomatic staff told him in a report. "It was rhetoric – not a speech on American security policy but an export model aimed at improving the image of the United States," they said.

So much for all the empty rhetoric from the Obama team about the new president raising America’s standing in the world . . .

Awesome: Chicago tea partiers confront CNN hack after hit piece

A seamless conclusion to the smear job heard ’round the world, thanks to some amazingly fortuitous timing by Founding Bloggers.

And then here is the same reporter interviewing the gigantic protests at camp Obama. Same accusatory tone, right?

Oh how CUTE! There are FIVE demonstrators there. Count 'em FIVE! And CNN's Roesgen does a puff piece about them. (The "tea party" protesters numbered THOUSANDS in many places! ) And she actually lets them SPEAK without interrupting them! WOW! What a difference in how she treated the "tea party" demonstrators!

She's done. No credibility at all! CNN, MSNBC, and the rest, how do you sleep at night?

Tea Parties

I attended one in Ft Meyers yesterday, and drove by another street corner Tea Party protest. The Ft Meyers tea party had about 3000 people. Another 1000 showed up on the corner of U.S. 41 and Pine Ridge road. Fun for all. Great to meet and be with other people who are coming to the same conslusions about the direction Amreica is headed. Bankruptcy is not the right course for America.

Saddling future generations with mountains of debt is the surest way to ruin ever seen in the USA.

“We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds… [we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our miss-managers to account but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers… And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for [another ]… till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery… And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.” — Thomas Jefferson

Best Line of the Day comes from the Greenville, S.C., Tea Party:

"They will be selling the 'Obama burger' — you pay for one and they cut it in half and give the rest to the guy behind you for free!!"

Shows a clear understanding of how Socialist-Democrats and Obama policy works.

Sen Boxer, Tax and Spend

As we approach the tax day tea parties Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, candidate for U.S. Senate in 2010, has penned his parody of Sen. Barbara Boxer's penchant to raise taxes again and again. Boxer's latest effort is to impose a Cap and Trade scheme which will send gas prices soaring and create a fictitious notion that we are somehow solving global warming all the while burdening US tax payers with even MORE strenuous taxes.

See Chuck DeVore to learn more.

Tea Party Warmup Act

Tough to beat this summary ...

In the spirit of the tea parties, I thought I’d present a video that sums up an important factor of these events. They are not being attended by Republicans or Democrats. They are being attended by Americans fed up with all of Washington, and are straining to find representation at all. Rep. Paul Ryan will be speaking at the Madison Tea Party, and I’m not happy with it, because he turned tail and supported the first bailout. We’ll see what he has to say.

How Are We Doing

As any engineer will know, if you make predictions, it's best to keep current with how you are doing -- Against those predictions. That way, you may know if your predictions, and predictive ability are worthless. Such is the case with man caused global warming. The very first warming alarmisms was spread by the UN IPCC back in 1980, UN IPCC AR1 was published in 1990 -- Curiously enough, when the natural temperature began rising. I assume it was believed that this was the best timing to cause the most public alarm.

The big temperature picture. Graph and insight from Dr Syun Akasofu
(2009 International Conference on Climate Change, New York, March 2009).

The global temperature has been rising at a steady trend rate of 0.5°C per century since the end of the little ice age in the 1700s (when the Thames River would freeze over every winter). On top of the trend are oscillations that last about thirty years in each direction:

1882 – 1910 Cooling
1910 – 1944 Warming
1944 – 1975 Cooling
1975 – 2001 Warming

In 2009 we are where the green arrow points, with temperature leveling off. The pattern suggests that the world has entered a period of slight cooling until about 2030.
Perspective is wondrous thing, isn't it. And now that the natural Earth cycle has turned cold, will man caused global cooling be next? Recycle the 70s alarmism, since the very same players were behind the 70s 'the ice age is coming, for sure' in the 70s.

Climate alarmism is cyclical, it follows natural warming and cooling cycles.

What is the coming Exaflood?

The future? We all know video is becoming really popular on the Internet. But it is the highest bandwidth alternative out there. And now it's being used as a bogeyman to frighten users of broadband into paying more for what they already get. The promise of Internet brownouts is just around the corner as the next big scare -- Unless of course we have metered Internet connections.

ARSTechnica had a nice article on the latest ginned up 'crisis' to afflict the masses.

The biggest consequence of the 'coming exaflood crisis' appears to be as the excuse to raise broadband prices.

More AGW Bull....

Notoriously Conservative reports the stunning news that NASA's latest data shows that the melting of polar ice we saw before last year could be caused by the pollution controls implemented in the 1970s!

And John Holdren, that ever nutty Obama 'pseudo-science' advisor, he of reduce the population of Earth fame, wants to shoot particulate pollution into space as a sort of umbrella shielding Earth from the Sun. Hey look at it this way, at least he knows where the heat comes from.

Back in the 70s, when the for sure ice age is coming hysteria was all the rage, the same nuts wanted to coat the poles with carbon black.

Read it all.

Climate Under Obama

Now under Obama, the environmental Left realizes that a federal program to reduce CO2 emissions may not occur this year because of the economy. Here, for example is an exchange between Houston Chronicle science reporter Eric Berger and Rice University’s Neal Lane, a global warming alarmist from the Clinton Administration days:

Q. [Berger] Do you see the Obama administration being able to get a meaningful carbon dioxide emissions reduction bill through Congress?

A. [Lane] I think so. What’s in the way of that, of course, is the economic crisis. Understandably, that has to be dealt with first. So I would expect it will be hard for the administration to move forward as rapidly on climate change as they had intended to do (emphasis added).

So what happened to the idea that a carbon diet would give the economy a nutritious free lunch? We have heard for so long that economists got it all wrong with their high cost estimates of meeting Kyoto.

In his book Cool Companies (1999, pp. 2, 218), for example, Joe Romm stated that self-interested energy savings by "any significant fraction of U.S. companies" would allow America to "meet the Kyoto targets while lowering the nation’s annual energy bill by tens of billions of dollars and accelerating economic growth through productivity gains (emphasis added)."

And here we are a decade later with U.S. greenhouse-gas emissions 15 percent above 1990 levels versus our Kyoto assignment of 7 percent below 1990 emissions. And remember, Kyoto barely begins to reverse out the human influence on climate from the alarmists’ own math.

It is an open secret that a climate bill in 2009 is improbable. States Romm over at Climate Progress:

I can’t find a single reporter, staffer, or wonk who thinks we’re going to have a climate bill this year. As the NYT reported earlier this month, “advisers and allies have signaled that they may put off … restricting carbon emissions.”

Can there be any doubt that the future federal regulatory program–now looking like the year 2010 or later–will be watered down with any big emission reductions scheduled in the out years when the targets can be easily reversed (the economy comes first, remember)? Are Left environmentalists going to be forgiving then too?

Can even climate alarmists have second thoughts about the extent of "market failure" in light of "government failure" and ramp-down their futile crusade? Will some or more rebel against corporate welfare and the T. Boone Pickens’ of the world? Will they think more about the welfare of energy consumers, particularly lower income ones? The climate civil war is one that nobody needs.

And all because of ignorant public, and the ability to push a hoax on the public with their Pravda parrot media. A simple honest debate would sink the whole mess.

Hurricanes, 2009

Global 24-month running sum time-series of Accumulated Cyclone Energy updated through March 12, 2009.

Very important: global hurricane activity includes the 80-90 tropical cyclones that develop around the world during a given calendar year, including the 12-15 that occur in the North Atlantic (Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean included). The heightened activity in the North Atlantic since 1995 is included in the data used to create this figure.

As previously reported here and here at Climate Audit, and chronicled at my Florida State Global Hurricane Update page, both Northern Hemisphere and overall Global hurricane activity has continued to sink to levels not seen since the 1970s. Even more astounding, when the Southern Hemisphere hurricane data is analyzed to create a global value, we see that Global Hurricane Energy has sunk to 30-year lows, at the least. Since hurricane intensity and detection data is problematic as one goes back in time, when reporting and observing practices were different than today, it is possible that we underestimated global hurricane energy during the 1970s. See notes at bottom to avoid terminology discombobulation.

More here at Steve McIntyre's site, Climate Audit.

The 2009 predictions begin in earnest -- Colorado State University's hurricane forecast team's latest prediction calls for 12 named storms, including six hurricanes. Of those six, two are expected to be major hurricanes with maximum wind speeds of 111 mph or greater. The first of the storms in the Atlantic, which are named in alphabetical order, will be Ana.

In 2008, there were 16 named storms including eight hurricanes, five of them major.

Looks like ACE is predicting a quite year, since no one really knows what thew future holds, we all like to play parlor games, don't we?

Comrade Obama Promises To Disarm America

This video was published first I saw on August 3, 2008 -- Before the election. Did one media type ask him about it?

Obama plans to disarm America and stop military technological advances. Our military is what keeps us safe and we are the country the world depends on to keep them safe. Without our technological advantages we won't be able to defend ourselves or our allies. Our military needs to keep ahead of the rest of the world if the free world is to remain free.

Reagan always said, 'peace through strength'. Comrade Obama says, who needs arms. Who would make a wierd video like this, what would be it's purpose?

TOTUS Turkey

Addressing Turkey's parliament on his first visit to a Muslim nation as President, Barack Obama reached out to followers of Islam everywhere. "Let me say this as clearly as I can: the United States is not and will never be at war with Islam," he said, to applause. "In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject." Obama said the U.S. has been enriched by Muslim Americans, including members of his own family.

Hah, didn't say that too loud during the election did we?

Meanwhile al Qaida has new front men: Remember one of the key things the 9/11 Commission said about the attack on the WTC in 2001? 'They were at war with us, but we weren't at war with them' -- Sage advice.

I Am Here To Help

Back in the 80s the liberals such as the WR Grace company thought up some cute commercial to throw at Reagan. Here is one such commercial about the 'changing world':

WR Grace is, at the moment, defending itself in court against allegations of conspiracy to cover up the dangers of asbestos exposure in its Montana mining operations.

Barry "the naive one" Obama couldn't be reached for comment.

American Form Of Government

A brief tutorial about forms of government and the special place America occupies. A LINK is all that’s available. But it is a must watch for all Americans.

Anarchy, no government. Most nations are ruled by an Oligarchy, a group of individuals who put forth a ‘face leader’ with charisma to be the spokesman. Hitler’s brown-shirts brought him to power, and allowed the NAZIs to rule Germany as an Oligarchy.

Maybe the similarities with Obama’s “volunteers”, the GIVE crap, are so dangerous to America.

Yes We Can

Debate, Why Not More

It's all about taxes --- Roll Call TV has just posted video of the March 27th debate they hosted between Marc Morano, former communications director for Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), and Climate Progress's Joe Romm.

Watch this and figure it out for yourself.

'nuff said.

Obama's Excellent European Adventure

With Greg Gutfeld:

Last night on FNC's RedEye the cast had lots of fun with Obama's European trip, with him bashing America and apologizing for our alleged arrogance. What more do we need to do to be appeasing the Euroweenies?

Immigration Gumballs

The best hope for the third world is to give them modernization. Build them a power plant. OK, now you see the real problem clearer don't you.

This is a MUST SEE video for anyone interested in the immigration debate, whether you are a citizen, an illegal alien or a Congressman. ... all » This clip from the longer video, Immigration by the Numbers, features Roy Beck demonstrating the catastrophe of the huge numbers of both legal and illegal immigration by Third World people into the modern nations. He uses standard statistics and simple gumballs to show this disaster in the making.

Hillary and the Lies She Tells Greta

Going to need better liars these days: I just heard Hillary say that she was sad the AW 1994 expired in 2004 and the huge murder rate in Mexico tracks gun sales from the USA. So I said, I wonder, what happened to the murder rate in Mexico when the AW ban expired in 2004:

2000 — 14.11
2001 — 13.94
2002 — 13.04
2003 — 17.5
2004 — 11.1 <<===== AW ban expired
2005 — 10.6
2006 — 10.8

So the big year was 2004 and, wait for it, wait, a little longer. Looks like that bogus argument goes up in smoke as just so much Clinton hogwash. The murder rate is dropping, more guns less crime? It’s not murder that is the problem, it is the drug gangs fighting each other and the Mexican government for control of the cash flow from the illegal drug trade.

Now we have politicians lying to us in droves, about near everything.

Cavuto Blows Up Another Democrat

Taking his lead from Glenn Beck? Maybe so.

The Orlando Sentinel reported:
The U.S. House is expected to vote today on a measure aimed at halting the payout of "unreasonable and excessive" bonuses to employees of financial companies that received federal bailout money.

The bill — a brainchild of U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando — would let the Treasury Department and financial regulators set standards to avoid a repeat of the outrage over AIG, the insurance giant that paid $165 million in bonuses to executives after it got more than $180 billion in bailout funds.
"We don't want people to get rich off taxpayer funds," Grayson said.

Grayson refused to answer Cavuto's questions on his bill last night on FOX Business Channel.

Loving it. It's about time that some of the media got in their faces.
